When I moved from an apartment into a new home, I set up my 29 gallon from scratch and let it cycle for about two weeks and then transferred over the corals and fish (2) from my 65 gallon. I only had 2 perculas so the transfer was not that bad. I purchased Aragalive sand and it cycled my tank pretty fast. I transferred over my live rock first and then tested my water parameters. Once everything was where it was supposed to be I transferred over my fish and corals. Make sure to have your protein skimmer running when you transfer over your live rock, it will help cycle alot faster with the live sand.

WELCOME TO REEFS.ORG! :P

I suggest that you set up the new tank as you did with the nano, waiting patiently for it to completely cycle (anywhere from 3-6 weeks) with the rock and sand. After the tank's nitrogen cycle has been established, start moving your nano's inhabitants over slowly. If you're nano's water is "healthy," you can use some of it to spike your new tank's water with bacterial culture, although this really isn't necessary since rocks and sand are replete with all sorts of nitrifiying and denitrifying bacteria. As with anything involved with this hobby, just be patient; you'll be rewarded with a much healthier tank :)
