:( Too bad i cant see it. All i can see is a blank white screen with a little thing in the upper left corner. It is like a little rectangle with a circle,a square, and a triangle in it colored red, blue, and green i think.

Thanks everyone!

I am really happy with the footage and the fish. I lost my last angler because I was stupid, and no I don't wanna talk about it. This is the replacement, different species, and way cool lure! Yay me!

Hmmm, make sure you have the latest quicktime player installed. Available at apple.com.

Very cool righty! Is he in a species tank by himself? It looks like a reef setup...

I used to have a tennis ball sized angler that was red, orange, all sorts of colors. He ate a damsel in the bag while I was acclimating him! Very cool fish.

I feel a little sorry for the damsel, about as much as I feel for the chickens we eat. That is not sarcastic, I really do feel sorry for chickens!

In case anyone is wondering, I am not planning on feeding the angler damsels for its entire life. I have only had the fish for three days, and I wanna makes sure it is porked up and healthy before acclimating it to other foods.
It is a species tank, meaning it is the only fish in the tank. Otherwise, the tank is an 18 gallon reef.

Iceman, I am working on your viewing problem.

WHOOOO! That is the absolute best!

I love it when he whips out his little fishin pole in the beginning. Interesting that it isn't fishing any of the time it eats. Do you know what species it is?

I thought you might like it Dan. Did you ever get yours?

I think its a Striated Angler, but not 100% sure yet.

THe video is actually reverse time. The actual eating happened as soon as I put the damsels in the tank - bang! While the fishing happened later when the angler wanted to eat more.

Now there's going to be a huge run on these things as people pursue the latest "damsel eradication tool."

No, my reef is still new. Its a fantasy for the future. Hopefully in the next year some time I will set up a small tank for one of these guys. I'm moving my office this summer, maybe then....
