This is why he should be in a tank by himself or with other's of his kind.

It is almost impossible to spot feed other fish without him getting involved unless you have a Very large tank

Uh.. YEAH. Btw, I think we forgot to tell you the golden rule of fish.

So, in case we didn't tell you, here goes:

The Golden Rule of Fish
If it can fit it in its mouth, IT WILL EAT IT.

And there you have it, the golden rule of fish. Too bad nobody told you.

Now, STOP FEEDING THOSE DAMNED FEEDERS!!! You'll make your fishes sick, and they're AWFUL! Start 'em on a feeding stick, feed them MARINE foods, not feeder fish (which are terrible even for freshwater fish). As you've discovered, you got 'im rollin' on that "eat everything that moves and FITS" groove. :P

DOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn this pisses me off. I wish I would have thought of borrowing a lionfish when I was trying to catch the stupid mean bastard damsel from my tank! Would've been SOOOOO much easier.

Is your panther grouper still really small? You do realize that as they mature they'll turn a really ugly crap-brown color and their spots will fade, don'tcha? :|

Take the grouper back

Try doing a search for Panther Grouper's on Google and see what their adult size is. It is a rather large fish.

Plus, Please start Quarantining your fish

Bry's right, they do get big, relatively quickly, too.

As for the feeding, yes, you can do that, or you can go an even cheaper route and buy a few uncooked shrimp and some squid, clam, and/or octopus, freeze it yourself, do the stabby thang and there ya go. Get some Selcon if you can, to soak the food in every few days. It's good for 'em.

One time I thought it would be okay for a yellow margin eel to be in a reef setup with a few other fish smaller than he. Everything was going fine until a few weeks into it and he decides to take a chunk out of my blue damsel and devour my coral beauty (which I thought would be to big for him to eat) Boy was I wrong. Needless to say he was sold a day later
