I bought the B-Ionic 2 part concetrates (buckets) at NERAC and just added water to them last night since I had other 2 part I was using.

I read the instructions to keep the 2 part above 60 degrees to store but I'm still hearing hard pieces in the ALK part when I shake the bucket up. I'm afraid to start using it in the tank since it doesn't seem fully disolved.

Is there anything I can do to save it?

I would put the bucket in a tub of warm water to warm it up first,
then keep shaking it up vigorously and it should dissolve.
It'll be a good workout before its fully dissolved though :lol_large

You added RO/DI water to the buckets right?

Yes, RODI water was used. What I did originally was take 2g + 10oz of water in milk jugs and warm them up by filling the sink with hot water in hopes to bring them closer to the 110degrees the instructions say. I poured the jugs of RODI water into the buckets and shook the crap out of them for about 15 minutes.

I went to use the jugs this morning and shook them up quick before I was going to pour them into dosing containers and heard the banging in the ALK bucket.

I'll try warming them up in a bath tub tonight and shake again.

Fluid,

This is mostly a problem during the colder seasons - follw the instructions noted above and keep at it - meaning keep mixing. I use a painters mixing drill paddle and use warm water - I usually get it done in one shot, but it takes a little time.

B-Ionis is sold in the 5g already diluted but its around 25% more -

I would try the hot water soak and mixing frequently.

I didn't attempt to take the lid off the bucket yet... it would probably help to mix it. LOL I've just been using the spout in the lid to add the water.

Thanks. I'll try in a little bit.

:arg: you have to at least mix it :lol2:

fyi if you try the heater trick DO NOT turn it all the way up.
I almost boiled the water, in the morning the bucket had steam coming
out of it!
