Branching Frogspawn breaking

When I was doing my water change today, I moved a piece of branching frogspawn and the branches crumbled.

What could be the cause?

I have low calcium, thats probably it.

I doubt that the low calcium has anything to do with it. It just happens, I guess. If the coral is fine, don't lose your sleep over this.

My frogspawn has pretty brittle skeleton too. So does my Torch. I think some Euphyllias inherently have fragile skeletal matrices.
