What pump sequence did you see on the night mode? From what I can see, all pumps are on most of the time, with little switching, and I was wondering if this was normal--it's very turbulant.

i have a tsunami but the night mode is suppose to shut down all but one pump making a very quiet calm flow. maybe yours is defective, i would contact the store you bought it from.

A wavemaker's night mode should disengage most of the pumps and create more serene environment. I agree with fungia ... i would discuss this with the vendor you purchased from and see if you can get it replaced. I highly doubt the Red Sea wavemaker is supposed to be more turbulent at night.

Most importantly ....

That was my thought as well. Marine Depot didn't know and Red Sea hasn't answered by email or call in over three weeks.

Can someone who has a Red Sea Wavemaker confirm that in Night Mode most pumps are shut down?

I spoke with Red Sea and the pumps run at a lower voltage so they opperate at a lower speed/flow verse shuting down most of the pumps. I'll have to take a closer look now.
