What brand...and why? I am piecing together a Ca reactor system and I want to know what core system is good. I am on a buget so a $1000 system is out for me.

You should PM Fergy. He makes calcium reactors, but i don't have a link to his site. He is the Maco instructor who teaches the acrylic courses. I built one of his reators in his class and it works great!
