MY CLOWNS WONT DANCE

HOW IS IT THAT THEY CAN JUGGLE FOUR BOWLING PINS AT THE.... OH WAIT WRONG CLOWNS. I HAVE THREE PERCULA CLOWNS TWO LARGE AND ONE SMALL. I HAVE HAD THEM FOR ABOUT FOUR OR FIVE MONTHS. THEY ALL GET ALONG WITH EACH OTHER BUT I WANT THEM TO DO THE HOKEY POKEY SO THEY WILL HAVE BABIES. THEY DONT SEEM INTERESTED IN EACH OTHER THAT WAY. I KNOW THEY HAVE THE ABILITY TO CHANGE SEX AND ALL, BUT I WAS WONDERING IS THERE A WAY TO TELL MALE FROM FEMALE. I HAVE BEEN READING ABOUT IT, BUT I JUST WANTED SOME ADVICE FROM YOU PEOPLE INCASE YOU KNOW A TRICK OR SOMETHING. OR HOW LONG IT TAKES BEFORE THEY MATE. JUST SOME FEEDBACK PLEASE. ( AND I LIKE TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS, IM NOT YELLING)

Ugghhh... so hard to read when everything is in CAPS (I like to read in lowercase :twisted: )!

Your female is going to be the largest and most aggressive of the bunch (unless you bought them separatly - then you could have two females). Have you tried placing some type of slab next to where they host or hang out? Usually this is necessary if you want them to get busy w/ each other. If you check out Matt_Wandell's post in the photography section, you'll see what I mean (can't remember the name of the post at the moment - sorry). HTH.

Dogmai, just be patient. Both times I have started from scratch with young clowns it took over a year before they paired off and started to spawn. My current pair just started a couple months ago, after about a year and a half.

SORRY THERE LIQUID BUT AS I STATED AT THE END OF MY POST I AM NOT YELLING. I AM AT WORK AND I TYPE IN CAPS BECAUSE THE JOB I DO DEMANDS IT. MOST OF THE TIME I TYPE A POST WITHOUT LOOKING AT WHAT I HAVE TYPED SO WHEN I GET DONE AND IT IS ALL IN CAPS IM NOT ABOUT TO RETYPE IT. BY THE WAY GREAT NAME. MINE IS ALSO SHANE.
