I don't know how much money I've got into the 80 and the 54 corner, but I do know how much is into my new 300 and it hasn't been delivered to the house yet. Yes I'm addicted. It started with a 29 ngal. freshwater tank that I was babysitting for my girlfriend. Right now there is 5 FW, 2 fowlr salt tanks, and an 80 and 54 gal reef in the house. The 300 is supposed to be here this week. God I love my local power company. 8O
I have spent about $11K so far in the last four years. I first had a 55 and then my 180G. I think now that I know better I could set up and stock a 200g for about $3K.
I got hooked first by snorkeling in the keys and then when I saw my first reef tank in my local LFS.
My tank (before I removed all the coral last saturday) looked ten times better than the tank in the LFS, yet seeing the tank was all that was needed to get me hooked.
