Risking this one in the reef for now....but as soon as he nips one of my clams I'm going to have to find him a new home. :)

Good luck with your experiment. I know a few other people that tried tinkeri butterflies in reef aquariums and they had to ultimately remove the fish.

KingJason: Unfortunately, yep. They've so far been limited in their distribution in my tank so I haven't bothered much with combating them, besides the occasional purchase of a varians nudibranch (which typically end up in the anemone).

Gives me the chills to look at them. I had them in my old tank and went nuts. I couldn't stand looking at my tank with all of the red things all over the tank! So I upgraded! I guess that's one way to get rid of flatworms.

BTW, beautiful fish! Good luck.

I have a Pakistani Butterfly in my reef tank - 1 year old just about. So far he has't bothered the LPS corals. I don't have any clams. I hope you have good luck with this beautiful fish.
