Decided on lighting...

Ive decided to go with the CSL pc 4 bulbs 65 watts each for my 55 gallon will some one please tell me if the is sufficient enough to keep clams like the t. maxima and most corals(excluding acroporas).. or can anyone share experiences or reviews about this lighting system?

How high is the tank? This light setup will be adequate for most LPS corals and some SPS. I think you will get away with deresa's and squamosas.
I wouldnt try to keep Maximas though. Although you have 4x65watts that will be SPREAD over lenth of the tank. Whereas with halide lighting the INTENSITY is so much greater.

You may perhaps get away with a maxima if located right under the light ie about 4 inches below the lights.

That is really not enough light for maximas or croceas. You can try a derasa or squamosa though.

ive changed my mind once again and decided to go with halides suplemented with pc.. i better hurry up and find the best price before i change my mind once again.. soo many choices
