I just opened my new aerofoamer 824 and was a little comfused on the diagrams. Its shows the 2nd part of the skimmer that attaches to the side which I didnt get all I got was the bracket to mount it with which was missing one thumb screw. I am possitive it is supposed to come with that considering I have the acrylic bracket you mount it with. I am using it external with a mag 24 pumping water from the sump. What is the best way to hook it up? Also the skimmer has a very stong smell of pvc glue should I wait till it goes away to hook it up? Thanks

I searched through all the foam in the box and found the parts hidden away. I am going to have to drill my sump and put in a bulkhead for the skimmer because I dont have enought room in my stand to raise the skimmer up and go over the top of my sump. What should I drill the acrylic with?

Hello,

You will need a bi-metal hole saw. Just be careful when using a new one, go slow, they are sharp and can grab the acrylic fast.
