I've never seen these before. Anyone have them? Are they white because of a lack of zooxanthellae? Is that healthy? What kind of light do they like? These really intrigue me.

Hey Mike. Could be a bit beached, but my guess is it's just naturally that color. I've seen my share of "white" ricordeas collected from all depths, so I really can not say what lighting preferences this specimen has. It is definitely unique and cool looking, and I'm sure you'll do fine with it.

Neat coral. It is not that bleach.... I would say it looks like light green to me, not white.

Recently, there is a huge surge of Ricordia florida, and many of them are colored morph other than green/blue.

The "white" r. yuma is pretty common from indo sources, and reproduces plenty fast on it's own. It's not a true white tho.. if you saw a bleached one next to it you'd see a major difference.
