My pagoda/cup (plate) is having a problem... in three contained seperate areas it looks as if the "plate" is being destroyed. If I didnt know better it is some type of necrosis of the tissue. The other sections of the surface and other polyps are extended and are thriving. Water conditions are good. I gave it an iodine dip yesterday for 10 minutes, and placed some direct on the lesions. It didnt help. Could this be bacterial, and I should seek an anti-biotic that I may make into a paste form? I have noticed a greenish cyano-type bacterial growth on the live rock, but that has been there for many weeks. Maybe a treatment of chemi-clean...could this pagoda be stifled by cyano, and can cyano be a green?
Any ideas?
thanks!
