I plan on buying that workhorse 7 ballast to drive 2 110w 46.5in VHO bulbs. I have an old hamilton unit that has the metal halides and NO bulbs in it. I want to replace the NO bulbs with the 46.5in VHO's and was wondering what else, in addition to the ballast would i need to purchase?
ie endcaps, sockets wires?
I am not sure if the sockets for the NO fit the VHO bulbs, do they? If they do then i think i could be fine with buying just a ballast and using all of the existing wirring and endcaps and such.
Then all i would need to do would be run the wires from the old ballast into the new ballast!
