Ricordia pics

I recently purchased some really nice ricordia from Bryan at www.blowfishaquatics.com and would like to share some pics. I haven't been getting very good pics lately, so I messed with my settings and got a couple real nice ones IMO. If you talk to Bryan, tell him Chet sent you... :wink:

He is local for me, so I was able to pick exactly what I wanted. The way he is doing the 9 for $99 is you get to "cherry pick" a couple of them, then he fills the order with others. Let me tell you though, all of those ricordia look VERY nice. If you saw the worst ricordia in the bunch at a LFS, you would pay a premium. Give him a call and he'll hook you up with what you are looking for.

how big are those? On the web page it says from nickle to half dollar size...but they look the size of a mans fist.

Both of those are ready to split and are probably around 2 inches or so. That red actually has 3 mouths so it may be a little bigger than that.

We advertise the size as nickel to half-dollar for a reason. We never want anyone to be dissapointed when they get our ricordia in. Many shrink when you ship them so a 2 inch ricordia will show up in the bag at about 1 inch. A day or two after you put it into your tank, it will be back to regular size. Our motto is under advertise and over deliver. You may even get a ricordia that is 3 inches with 4 mouths. It is kind of the luck of the draw. At other online stores, 4 mouths = 4 ricordia, not here. The colors you see online are not enhanced either. We take the photos under 2 250w Iwasaki bulbs with 2 110w actinic and 2 110w 50/50 bulbs. As you all know, this tends to hide the true brightness of the color. Once agian, under promise and over deliver.

We try to update as frequently as we can. The next time we will be able to update will be April 21st. It will be updated more frequently after that.
