Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone had used the Zooplex by Kent? I've got a 29g with several BTA's (2 med-large) who normally get shrimp or silversides thrice weekly. Also have a couple of colonies of Button Polyps and now 2 medium Kenyan trees with about 8-10+ plus KT frags.

I have tried DT's, Marine Snow, and Phyto-plex for normal feeding, with some Kent Micro-vert occasional supplementation. Just ran out of Phyto, and picked up some of the Zooplex to try.

I am pretty happy with the Phyto and Micro-vert due to a small accident I had that has ended up quite awesome. Moved aKenyan tree thatwas about 5" tall a little to close to a current. Came home later that night, and found that 4-5 branches had broken off about half-way to the trunk. I was able to successfully frag them to rocks. Also now have 3-4 frags actually growing on the glass! In the last 8 weeks, my fragged trees have sprouted to about 2-2 1/2", and I also have a small forest of trees almost on other rocks.

I've got 2x55 PC's, although I am waiting on a 03 Actinic from HelloLights.

OK, too much information. Will Zooplex suffice, or should i attempt to get the DT or Phyto?

Thanks.

I thought that was pretty cool too when my Kenyan tree started dropping its branches thus basically fragging itself... but its been doing this nonstop now for the last month and a half... its getting to be quite the pest in my opinion. But if your LFS will give you store credit for em them then great!

You might want to give IPSF's Coral Heaven a try (at www.IPSF.com). My polyps and softies love the stuff... makes the hermits and shrimp go nuts too. HTH.

Cool, thanks for the link. I'd forgotten about them.
May try them, if I can figure out their funky ordering system...

Really poorly web design. It's flooded with information. These guys needs to trade their couple corals for better web design fee :) :)
