I'm running Redhat 9, viewing out of Opera, and I can enter values in just fine, but then I hit "calculate" and nothing happens. Is this the same as what you're experiencing? When I reboot into Windows later today I can try again if you like, and tell you whether I get anything out of Opera out of Windows, or IE6 out of Windows.

P.S. Just tried it out of Mozilla--no go, and Konqueror, again, no go.

Looks like it's using a server side Javascript file and Visual Basic to do the calculations. It works fine under IE6. Sounds like there may be a browser compatibility problem.

Works on my IE6 browser, but not Mozilla. I'm guessing compatibility issues as well. Otter's URL is even better ;)

Maybe I am missing something, but Otters link dosen't seem to make the direct calculation ie at 6 dkh, what should your ca be?

On my wifes windows pc I was able to get to the hipkiss calculator. Maybe it just doesn't like macs.

Thanks Otter!

Tried it already. It doesn't do the 'if my alk is X my ca should be Y'.

I didn't think my first post would be a tech support question, but here we are

Are you using Safari? I noticed that it doesn't work with the 85 build. One of the guys on the Safari team is a big aquarium nut, so I imagine he'd be interested in seeing it work! I'll pass it along.

Scott.

Bentwookie,

Welcome to RDO!

I'm not using Safari because I had a bad reaction to the beta. I tried on both Camino and IE 5.2. Any thoughts would be eagerly read.
