is it safe to put more that 1 anemonie in a tank? i had a nice seabae but my monster satrfish decided to eat him so i took the star up to my LFS and got a nice credit for him. so now that the star is gone i got a carpet anem and my percs dont like it, so i was planning on getting either an LTA or a BTA and i was wondering if i should return the carpet or keep it (because its a cool purple and green color). or should i put it in my reef? if i put it in my reef will it harm anything? in my 125 it has almost doubled in size in only a day. i think the lfs's tanks were not the best for him and i dont believe they feed him as he ate a ton of food last night and when i got him he was fist sized and now hes open hand size after only 1 feeding and 1 night in my tank. or the other question is will my perc's eventually adopt him and be happy? should i just wait. if so how long does this usually take? when i put them in they immeidatly went for the seabae but wont go near the carpet.

About carpet anemones in reefs.

I have read thread after thread after thread after thread that was along the lines of- "MY CARPET ATE MY YELLOW TANG!!" or "Why did my carpet anemone eat my mandarin?" or "OMG, why does my carpet keep eating all my fish?"

So I can't speak from personal experience, but if you have fish in your reef that are likely to bumble into it, I wouldn't do it!
