Confused about reading alk.

I took home that Salfreit test kit for alk , when i did it said that my kh was 8 and dkh was 2.8 now it that low normal or high what should it be at. :?

If memory serves, dKH should be between 8-12. It should say in the instruction sheet what NSW is for comparison. I don't know what the equivalent meg/l is. Double check that your reading of 8 wasn't dKH.

Most likely your dKH is 8 and meq/l reading is 2.8. To get meq/l divide dKH by 2.8.
