well if you dry the sand out you will have bacteria die off, you'll probablly have it antway i would toss it and get new sand, hell it's only40pds of it. i would kep the rock and throw it in the main display if its fully cured.

The rock is a keeper, and you should have no problems putting it in the main tank. Now with the sand that can get tricky, and with such a small amount you are better off just throwing it away..... Best of luck

I hate to tear it down but with 60-70hr work weeks it is hard to maintain two of these guys. if they were tied together I would be easier?? hmmmmmmm

well, i didnt break down my nano... i switched it to a 20g glass tank. it should be easier to service... I am using an eheim liberty 200 filter (200gph) and two maxi-jet 1200's (295gph each.)

so i think fow is no problem... i have about 35lbs of sand and 15lbs of rock in there. i am gonna get more. a 20g is a tall tank.....

i am using a 65w smartlite for lighting. i might toss on another or get a helios set-up and switch the bulbs....

any other advice would be great...

the clear for life had to have foam pads rinsed and cleaned and the pump would always get jammed with something. the foam pads were junk. polyfilter clogged too fast.... so. lets see if this works...I will post a pic later
