This should not be listed under For Sale I added this here by mistake :?
Has any one used DT Plankton to feed corals. The directions says to feed everyother day. Is this to much or not enought? Also it indicates to feed one hour before the lights go out.

I have a 29 gal tank
1 plate coral
2 green star polp
1 green brain
1 hairy mushroom

Also where I purshased the corals suggested to use:
Reef Plus to keep cal at correct level and Reef Complete for Vitamin and Amino Acid for the corals.

Thanks

Too the best of my knowledge Dt''s basically feeds all the little critters in your tank which in turn feed the larger critters ect.... I personally feed DT's (3 capfuls 2 or 3 times a week) along with 3 sizes of golden pearls.

Post moved for you, and welcome reefs.org, Kenny.

Also consider the benefits of a refugium, as once established they can provide much of what your filter feeders will require.

Follow the manufacturers directions for this product, and scale down if you notice excessive algae growth or nitrate elevation. I believe the suggestion to feed one hour before lights out is due corals being more active feeders at night time when their polyps are out in force.

Welcome to Reefs.org :) :) :)

The brain and the plate coral can take frozen fish food if you feed that to your fish. The star polyps and mushrooms should be fine on just the light, although you could try feeding the hairy mushroom, I'm not sure what species you have.

None of yours really need DTs, although it will be welcomed by small filterfeeders that probably are growing on your live rock, as Shawn indicated above. Also the I would skip the reef complete vitamin stuff.
