Our American media makes it look like everyone in Israel is busy trying not to get killed, bombed, or shot by their misunderstood neighbors of the Palestine.

How the hell does someone find the time, money and equipment neccessary to do such a things as in these pictures when death is a more pressing concern?

I'm guessing American media is just rubbish.

i'm guessing you're right. most of the israelis i talk to through my place of employment pay a relatively small amount of attention to the politics of the situation, and generally calmly go about their business. israel is just as western as any european or north american nation.

Hello America!

This aquarium is kinda legend in Israel and many people talk about it.

Many people here mentioned the $$$ for this tank, so, ya guys really cant even imagine the costs in Israel for the hobby, let's just say, it's about twice more than US of A.

So imagine in America, in the same amount of $ who could make at least a twice bigger swimming pool

No that is not what I meant. You gave us a web page that I could not understand. I love to talk to people who are from other countries. Everyone thinks I am a dick but not really. Every year I open my door to high school exchange students. I have had Saudis,Germans and Hungarians. It is a great experiance. Keep trying to talk English. You will do fine.
