I have had my leather mushroom coral for about 2 years. the last couple of days his little tenicales are not coming out when the light comes on. Is this a sign that he's sick.
Nope, leather corals normally go thru phases like this. I'd just keep your eye on it for a few more days and see what happens. My guess is that it'll shed a mucous layer from it's surface and then be back to normal.
