So far, there's been over a thousand downloads of Reefs.org's wallpapers. I can tell what's been downloaded the most, but I'm curiuos which ones people are actually using
R33f,
Yes, the majority are shots from my tank. The UW photos are contributed by Jameso. THere's more to come each week, so make sure to check back.
I use Photoshop for most of my work, with Paintshop for any art I have to generate. PS is really all the tool a graphical layout designer needs.
Tony,
Those are arrow crabs. There's actually 3-4 fish, a urchin (giant one at that), a eel, and a bunch of arrow crabs in that pic, plus sponges, algae, etc. That's why I named it community
Awesome pics, Len, but I can't seem to decide which one to use! :? I only have 2 pc's and a laptop, and 15 choices. Maybe I need more computers....
Thanks Dave. BTW, it's not like you're stuck with one for life You can use one per day if you'd like. More's coming each week, so the selection is just gonna get bigger and better.
At work, I have a test bed with several different OSs, all over 3 monitors via some KVM switches... Short version of this comment, is that I am currently using about half of those wallpapers! IO and Europa is on my main machine though. Beautiful pics...
Why do some of them have the "reefs.org" font on the left side? Doesn't really work unless you feel like moving all your shortcuts over to the other side of the screen. (just for future reference) Other than that, I have the "community" shot.
I'm not sure what you mean. The desktop shortcuts are placed in different areas on different people's monitors and you can move them to wherever you want on the desktop. I don't know of any fixed shortcuts on the left side of Windows OS.
