are my bristle worms eating my snails and stuff

i thought i saw a giant bristle worm ( i have 2 or three that came on some live rock the=y are huge) anyway i tought i saw him grab a blue leg hermit today

i have been wondering about him cus ihe is getting so big, but know that i think about it i have not seen a nassarious snail in a while either..

what is the consencos are they good or bad for the whole setup

they seem to be every where know that i am looking for them

Interesting you should say that.... I have a very big one living in an isolated rock near the front of the tank. Just yesterday I noticed 5 or 6 empty nassarius shells scattered around the rock and wondered how they came to be there. I generally regard these guys as fine but might be rethinking that.....

I have 2 or 3 very large bristle worms also that came with the live rock I acquired from a friend's tank. He said that they had been there a long time and had never caused any problems however, I don't think he had any snails in his tank. I started out with 11 Astreas and in less than 1 month I am down to 5. I know that the dwarf zebra hermit crab attacked and ate 2 of them, but I removed him and now 3 more are missing from their shells. I really hope it's not the BWs because they are a pain to remove.
