I got a few new maxima clams. I had to put them in a 55 that contains a lunar wrasse overnight. I had to break down my reef today and move it to a new stand. Anyhow, I awoke to find one of the clams on it's side and I caught the wrasse biting at it's foot. Now he is retracted his foot in his shell and isn't spreading out. The wrasse hasn't harmed other bivalves in the system before. Is this going to be fatal to the clam? I have moved him into the reef where he shouldn't have any predators. Help if you can!
