If you go to AGA's website, the 150 w/overflows is nowhere to be found, but I've heard they make one. I also heard the overflow is centered in the tank, and not at the corners... any truth to this? Anyone have an actual picture of the tank? And the overflow... I know they tanks come pre-drilled with a standard size set of holes... but what size bulkheads do these holes hold?

That's all I can think of for now...

Thanks!

AGA does not make a 150RR. They make a 120, 125, 180, and 215. The website does show the older reef ready design so it is of no help. Oceanic makes a 150RR but I would strongly reccomend against buying this tank. The wholesale cost difference between the Oceanic 150RR and the Oceanic 180RR is less then $100.00 and don't let a retailer tell you anything different. The bulkheads are 1" drains and 3/4" returns for both manufacturers. I hope this has helped you.

I called Royal Pet Supply today and got a PLU and price for the tank through my company. They do have a 150 rectangular RR tank w/overflows, but the sales person said they were brand new and she wasn't sure about the placement of them.

I haven't seen the 150, but the 90 has the overflow moved to the left of centre, but not in the corner.

I suppose that for the larger tanks, both overflows will be proportionately placed, off-centre, on the back, versus in corners.

The overflow box is bigger, and the standard-issue overflow kit now contains a modified version of the Durso.

Much quieter, much more flow potential.

Thumbs up!

The overflows are positioned as Jenn has described. I'd assume some pics should be available on the AGA web site soon.

FWIW, I have an Oceanic 150 60x24x24. Its one of their "pre-engineered" custom sizes. The drains are as mentioned above (1") but I had them make it with 1.5 inch drains.

I took delivery of my new AGA 150 RR with twin overflows today. The overflows are as mentioned, just to the left and right of center. The overflow kit comes with a modified durso rig, a 1" open intake and a 3/4" open return. I remember seeing a sponge of some sort on a friend's overflow kit on his 90 RR, and from what I can gather it is now eliminated. You can get the new kit to modify your old one, too, if I heard my salesperson correctly.

I'll have more pics and info as the next week goes on. I'm moving from FL to SC and I'll try my best to document it. I have a 150 now, but wanted a drilled tank, so now I have 2 150s.

I took delivery of an AGA 120 RR last week. The 2 overflows are off center and not in the corners as their website showed. The drainpipes from the overflow kits you purchase are modified Durso's and not the float valve that is shown on the website. The return is 3/4" and the drain is 1". Hope this helps.
