Guys Look at this pix! Very cool! He's just around 2 inches and pure yellow with long fins and tail. I guess he will not grow more than 3 or 4 inches. I found him in the pet store who doesn't seem to know a lot about him. First time i saw his kind too so i immediately bought him. He eats a lot and very active. Sneaks from rocks all over the tank.

That's a really nice basslet. I actually have no idea what species (or genus) that is! It looks like a Pseudochromid, but which one? I don't believe I've ever seen a specimen like that in all my years of reefkeeping. Awesome!

Deo,

It's Pseudochromis fuscus and he's right from your area. I saw them being collected at Bohol in February.

Thanks John and Len,
Im excited about this fish. The other sturdy fishes i have are 2" picasso trigger, 8" snowflake eel and 3" tomato clown; all around 2 years old in my tank. They seem not to bother each other. They are all crazy eaters. This basslet is a welcome addition who gives a blend of yellow to my setup. Here's another pix. Its a little blurred; he swims fast.
