Well I have had this poor clown fish in the tank now on his own for about a year now. The other 2 fish have died over the years (one suicide and the other one..?)

I would love to add at least one more maybe 2 more fish to the tank. Any and suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks !

yellow watchman and pistol shrimp would be my first pick.
or a yellow head jawfish.

clownfish will exist with just about anything theyre like salt water goldfish. Small tank will limit your choices though. I wouldn't get more than 3 fish. I find the other salt water creatures to be far funner though how about a coral boxer shrimp and some bumblbee snails!!

I never thought I'd enjoy watching snails but my bumblebees cruise around in packs, so you can always bet on which one gets to the other side first. It's like horsetrack betting in the privacy of your own home!

Yes. The coral banded will kill a pistol shrimp, and possibly the goby as well.

What fish did you have before?

How about a banggai and/or royal gramma? They don't need much swimming room.

previously I had another percula clown (got both at the same time, but one committed fishcide) and I had also a purple firefish that loved to hide in this hole in one of my chunks of live rock  lol. He spent most of his time there....little rascal.

Get a panther grouper, That is my favorite fish. In fact, get a group of them.

Just joking, except about the part about it being my favorite

You could try a flasher wrasse, or a longnose hawkfish, I think

I would get another opinion on those before you get them though, they are in my "approved" stocking plan, but I haven't actually had them yet
