Actually no they are pretty sweet. But what I meant was, choosing skimmers suck! Ok I still haven't pick out a skimmer for a 75. I have raised the limit to around 200 dollars, seeing that 150 was just to low. Are there any skimmer's that are good for a 75 gallon reef tank, that are around 150-200. I am thinking of having 100 pounds of live rock, a jaubert DSB, a 10 gallon sump, and a 29 gallon refugium. What I was actually thinking was either a precision marine CV...( forgot all the numbers, but it's the one recomended for a 75 gallon) or a Aqua C PRO. Which one is better for my use? But I am very cheap so I was wondering if there are any good skimmers for a lower price that will due. Also WHat skimmers do you guys use and prefer on your 75's? Thanks

Aqua C remora pro. The best for your buck. If you raise your $ a little more go with the turbofloater 2000 it's awesome(aqua medic makes good stuff). I'd go with either the Aqua Medic turbo floater 2000 or the Aqua C remora pro. Two of the best skimmers out there.

Is the skimmer going to be in a sump, or a hang on?
If hang on I would go with Aqua C Remora Pro
If sump I would go Euro-Reef CS5-2

I pretty much hear good things about both beckett based skimmers and the EuroReefs. IIRC, Len's got a EuroReef on his 120...

It's for the sump... yah I was also considering euroreef. That was my backup if no one had any better ideas for skimmers
