Today I noticed my yellow wrasse was missing. I checked behind the tank to see if he decided to go exploring but he wasn't there. I looked under the rocks, checked the intake of my pumps, looked in the usual caves, all with no luck. I gave it 20 minutes and came back and looked some more. "Where can he be?", I asked myself. No, he, nah. He wouldn't have jumped into the overflow......

Damn.

He's staying there.

I had purchased a Skunk Clown & it disapppeared a few days later.
A month later, one of my wrasses found a 1" hole in my overflow & decided to jump in.
While fishing out the Carpenter (which was a pain in the @ss), I found the Skunk clown:eek:

Well about 2 weeks ago, the Skunk did it again.
He's still there.
:theyareon

I feed mysis to my overflow:)

After getting one of my chromis from the overflow once, I've decided to let him think about his behavior while there the second time. What a pain in the a$$!:anger2:

Well, I know he is not starving.

Both of my blue sided wrasse jumped into the 2 individual overflows. I couldn't get them out, and eventually 1 jumped back into the tank, and the other went down into the sump. They are both back in the tank, and seem to have learned their lesson.:wink1:

Yeah, that's exactly what I did the first time - and will do the second time. The funny thing is, I can see the chromis in the box. The lesson learned for me - never buy fish small enough to squeeze through the overflow slots. :arg:

why not pull the durso's up and flush all those overflow trapped fish into the sump?

I had thought my firefish had been eaten, 2-3 weeks later I see him swimming thru the rubble in my sump. I spent an hr 1/2 trying to fish him out. I finally got him with some flake food for bait.
I have a 4 stripe damsel sharing a fuge room with an emerald at the moment. They get mysis and flake food.

i did that before when my perc jumped in the overflow...he made it through just fine...I had to cover my overflow w/ guttergard because as soon as i flushed him out and put him back in the display he would jump right back in....After about 3 times i decided to cover the overflow
