Corals are cool and I do love anemones but you just can't beat fish for an eye catching display.

LOL, I do spend a good deal of time staring at refugium fauna though.

Fish obviously provide the pet interaction aspect that drew most of us into the hobby in the first place. My vote went to corals only because of the pride I take in propagation. It's important to me that I contribute to moving the hobby towards aquaculturing completely to assist in the recovery of coral reefs.

I voted for corals. I really like LPS corals best though.

I put Misc, but the part of my tank I watch the most are the various little "bugs" crawling around. I like the interaction they have with the environment I create.

Must've missed the first poll (if, that is, it was recent). But as the Simpsons say, "If you take away our right to plagerize, where are ideas going to come from?" :D

MULTIPLES! Len, I can't believe you asked this!

Frankly I would have been disappointed with seamaiden if she hadn't replied as she did! :P

I voted for fish- the interaction between them is fascinating. I just love the fish!

I know what you're thinking, seamaiden...please don't go there.

I voted for corals but I've dying to try a clam some day. I just don't have the balls yet
Clams are pretty expensive here on the east coast and I just would hate to loose a clam and my money.

Jason,

Their care level really depends on the region (or gene pool). I do find that most aren't reef compatible. Especially the ones I dated in college (I definitely spent more time at Macy's than the LFS).

Syris,

I really think you should try clams. You'll find that they're a lot easier to care for than corals. As long as water parameters and lighting (same as SPS corals) is properly maintained, than your only worry is placement and the compatibility of your other inhabitants.

women should possably be on the list, but i would personally choose fish anyways. they give you WAY less back-talk.

a favorite quote from one of my rock climbing buddy's:

"relationships are so much harder than climbing. its not like you can slap a bolt in her forehead and rapell off when you've had to much"

That's tough poll I can't answer. Does my Sebbelid Worm field compare to my SPS or my Clowns? I'm not sure. The diversity of life and culturing of new species keeps me reefing.
