Hospital tank powerhead

I set up an Eclipse 12gal as a hospital tank. I have an extra Hagan Aquaclear 301 powerhead I could put in it. Any reason not to have a powerhead in a hospital tank?

What setting should the 301 be on...low, med, high flow rate?
I get confused with all the calculations!

Do you have the built in biowheel filter running?
That should really be enough, but you just want some water movement in the tank, so if you want to use the powerhead, put it on "low".
I have a 10gal and just run a Whisper Power filter on it.
