Was wondering - which is considered best for the money? Looking at the Aquadyne or Neptune but which would YOU chose & why? Also, which has the better software?

Thanks -- 8O

Have both

Get the neptune, MUCH better support, and the OS is quite a bit more flexible

Wanted to thank you for taking the time to reply. Just added a chiller and considering a Ca reactor - thinking is that with these devises, a controller is needed. Also would like to do something closer to "Natural" with the lighting.

Anyhow - Thanks again! :P

You really dont need a controller with a reactor, most reactors now have dual chambers to burn off the co2.

I've found the easiest way to setup a reactor is to setup the flow per direcitons, ususally 1-2 lph, and the co2 1-2 bubbles a sec, give it a day to stabalize, and then test effluent dkh and tank dkh, and watch the 2 values over time, it's far more accurate than using the reactor ph as a baseline.
