Caribsea Calcium reactor media ARM

I am refilling my calcium reactor with Carbisea ARM Reactor Media. I bought the 8lb container. Previously, I used 1.5 8lb containers, but forgot until I filled the reactor chamber and it is now only 2/3 full.

Does the amount of reactor media effect the output, or does the amount of media I use, determine how long before I need to refill the reactor chamber....

I have not used my reactor in over a year as I am restarting my tank...so I need some refreshing on useage...Thanks!

Any advice would be appreciated..

The amount of reactor media does not affect the output concentration in a typical ca rxtor. However, as you suspected, it will get you to refill the rxtor sooner.
