Curious, are you using the all-glass overflow accessory kit? If so, you may want to check out Richard Durso's standpipe design. His website is awesome, BTW. Especially for the DIYer. The man makes Bob Vila look like a complete amateur!!

OK I will check it out. Thanks. I am using the the overflow design you might say. I picked up the standard over flow and it was loud so I got the new Mega flow one and it didnt fit into the old overflow box so i built my own desing of the mega overflow. But I will check it out. Thanks.

Out of curiosity, is the noise coming from the water flowing from the main tank level down to the level in the overflow? Or is it coming from the water rushing in the Pipe?

If it is from the difference in water level between the Main tank and the Overflow chamber, you should be able to quiet it by raising the water level in the overflow chamber.

A Durso would raise the water level, plus since you build it yourself you can adjust it until it runs quiet

What was the problem getting the Mega-flow standpipe into your overflow? It was designed to be compatible with the corner overflows.

Thanks,

R
