How do you classify between rapid breathing and/or normal breathing? howabout once every second? My ocellaris clown has around half an inch long white scratch on its body, not sure what caused this. It breathes somewhat a bit heavier and more noticeable than the other smaller one, which is fine. It stopped eating for 1 day however yesterday it resumes eating again. Is she in critical condition?

Rather then relying on breathing rate, maybe it would be much quicker if you try to find tell tell sign about any abnormality in water chemistry.

water chemistry: no ammonia, nitrite and only a tiny trace of nitrate, SG 1.023, pH is 8.2. The other fish and all corals (fully expanding) are fine.
