I am starting to think I am running a bordello for my little clownfish!!!

3 sets of eggs in the last 6 weeks!!!!

Is it something in the water? Params are good. Are all those mushrooms like little spanish flys for false percs?

I have yet to see little Fred & Gingerletts yet as I am thinking that they have gone to the great buffett table in the sump.....

Is this normal, or do I just have horny clowns?

Not sure, but I have heard many people's clowns have spawned recently. Your guess is as good as mine as to why :P

Each pair of clowns is going to be different. Some will spawn once or twice a month. Some will spawn every week like clockwork. Some will even spawn for a second time before the first set of eggs hatches. For most of common species, once they start spawning, they arent going to stop until something disrupts them pretty severly.

We shall see if the Bordello del Clownfish continues, as the latest batch of goby food seems close to hatching...

I figure I will leave 'em to the gobys, shrooms, corals etc....

I couldn't figure out where to look for the little buggers and am never around to watch hatching anyway....

They're probably encouraged by the tax-cuts underway.

They wont last long in your tank but they will hatch on the 8th night if temp is at 80f about 1-2 hours after lights out. If any survive look at the bottom edges.

My maroons spawn every 13-14 days. If you want to see the hatch, just keep a count on one of your spawns - count the days from when the eggs are laid until they disappear. They will hatch on the same day almost every time. Just check your tank on the night of the hatch about 2-3 hours after lights out - you'll see lots of fry.
