Well, I had a really bad experience with petsolution. I placed an order for $280. But when I received an receipt by email, it showed that I being charged for $330, a $50 extra. I called back and they said they charge me $50 more because there is a freight fee for the order. When I checked out on the website, it indicates that I get free shipping. now I got charge a lot. I insisted that it's their fault no include the freight charge at final checkout. All they can say is "Sorry, we will fix that". So right now I have to pay for that error.
So what I have to do right now is wait for the order to come and refuse intire order. what a hassle.
Don't shop at pet solution They don't understand at all...
I lost my present.. :( :(....

Couldn't they just have charged back $50 to your credit card? I can't imagine refusing the order being a good thing for either you or the vendor since they will have to cover the shipping either way.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I've been frustrated by various vendors (reef-related or otherwise) too many times to recall myself.

That's what I said. I would be happy to get $50in their store credit so I can buy more stuff on their website. But they said NO. Sounds like they laughing at me and said "EAT THAT". I wanted to report them to Better Business Bureaus. They charged me $50 without my approval. I'll call that as unauthorized charges.
What a hassle and time consuming. Took me an hour for shopping and hoping. Now either I cough up $50 more or get nothing... :( :(
Becarefull when you order with them.

That's interesting. I've had great experiences with Petsolutions, and have ordered from them many times. Low prices and they seemto have things in stock and a variety of products.

binylee, what they did was wrong (as I understand it conveyed by you), and possibly illegal. It is an unauthorized charge, and you'd be wise to store the page that speaks of free delivery offline on your computer, or better yet, print it out. Then, contact your credit card company, tell them the story, that you want the shipment/remainder of your purchase, but you dispute (key word here) the $50 shipping fee.

What upset me the most is they're not willing to work with you at all. They are willing to let me Refuse the order when it comes. Then they have to pay the shipping cost, stocking, boxes, handling, etc. But not willing to give me store credit to buy more of their stuff. This is not the way how the big company works. Customer is always rights. If you don't represent the information clear enough, you have to take the fall for it. I am the customer. I don't want to play game of looking and reading the fine prints. Oh Well.... I have to refused the order then. I'm not gonna loose them for this. I will take your advice to print the receipt and refuse the payment.
