Generally (not always, but generally), unless you have a "great" ISP like we do, if you're on DSL or cable modem, you have a static IP. If you're on dial-up, it's a dynamic IP.

Actually, most people on dsl or cable have their IP's change with surprising regularity. I have had cable and DSL for several years and even when I pay extra to have a static IP, my IP changes more often then I want!

However, his IP will be probably be banned long enough for him to contemplate creating a new account, make an attempt and be denied.

If he was then really savvy, he might try a proxy or somesuch, but from the sounds of his posts, he lacked technical skills to pull something like that off.

Regardless, I am sure the banning served it's purpose...

not for nothing, but even if he dose come back i dont think he is going to change. it is sad because he has the knowldge to help, he just didn't know how to say it in a way to help. thinking about it i thought customer satisfaction is job one. how he did it, i do not know. it is a shame people can't learn from thier misfortunes. i wish him the best of luck.

Erik L,
I think the fact that you're asking the question means you already know the answer :D :D
