lighting question/need advice

just wondering if anyone can help me out, i recently purchased some 250 watt de hqi. however what puzzles me is that the lights are a different color, one seems more blue than the other.( both are brand new bulbs and the same kind 10k and same ballast and pendent) I was told that there is a breaking in period but it has been more than one week.
any advise would be greatly appreciated, i did swith ballasts and still the same. thanks

It seems to take my DE lamps a few weeks to settle-in. That said, if the lamps look very different I think I would contact the vendor about getting a replacement lamp.

Expect variation between individual bulbs even if they are from the same batch. It is very difficult to make each bulb identical in the manufacturing process because even a small change in electrode distance will give you a different output.
