Check your calibration on your refractometer!!

You've never tested my tap water!

470 TDS - I'll check to see what it shows on the refractometer tonight.

So, did you have the chance to get the reading from your tap?

You were right, even at 470 TDS my tap water shows 0 ppt per the refractometer. I guess I don't need to buy a new gallon jug of distilled water every time I want to check my calibration!

That's right. The point is not to save a few drops of expensive "pure" water every time ones calibrate, but how needlessly meticulous ones can became.
