This is the second one this week, my water parameters are fine, I saw a very small puncture on the last one it was on its crab shell, but it was not a perfect circle lile the ones made by worms, it was more like he got it from a fight or like something felt on top... WEIRD. any ideas?
I have 2 chromis, 1 clown, 1 flame angel and a mandarin dragonette. 2 more emeralds.. but smaller than the one that crock.

What specifically are your water parameters (salinity, pH, temperature, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, calcium, alkalinity) and what is your acclimation proceedure?

If your parameters check out fine then i would go with poor acclimation. Most inverts require at least 2 hours for proper acclimation.

Are you sure you do not have a Mantis Shrimp in the tank? Heard any noises? Snapping sounds? Snapping sounds could be other marine life, but it might be a place to start thinking. Seen any signs of digging? Missing any snails?

You might try a search on Mantis Shrimp and there are a few folks here that keep them. If you see what you think is one, don't pick it up. They are nicknamed "Thumbsplitters" for good reason.
