Reef design computer programs....

Just about to start the long process of designing my reef and set-up, but im wondering if there ae any PC products similar to those used with 3-D design for aquariums. For example incrporating plan, isometric and end views for 3-view design. Or would i simply be better of finding a decent 3d CAD program or such and using this. I have 6 months to design & plan my reef so time isnt a problem. i just feel that if i started now, and ironed out any bugs what so ever before setting it up ready for l/r and so on, saving me time (and money) in the long run.

Probably your best bet would be to use something like AutoCAD or maybe even Blender ( http://www.blender3d.org/ , http://www.blender.org/ ) and render it yourself. FYI: Blender is free and open source. Other than that there's always a pencil and graph paper, which is the way I currently do stuff.
