I've had the opportunity to use this salt for some time now and highly recommend it! Previously I used either Tropic Marin or Hawaiian Marine. This salt is at least as good and priced comparable to Instant Ocean!.

Oceanic has just received their first shipment, so it's probably not in many stores yet. It should be available pretty much where ever Oceanic or AGA is sold; once the "pipeline" is filled.

To be honest, I don't know the name of the processing company. I do know that they are not one of the companies that have been making sea salt.

This company typically does food grade processing with strict testing procedures; so there should not be the type of problems that other salts (like IO) have had.

That sounds like a question for Oceanic's customer service department; unfortunately I do not have that info at hand.

The stuff I have is from a pre-production test batch and is just in clear plastic containers. There should be a pic on Oceanic's web site.
