How do you keep Corraline from forming on the front glass?

Do you clean the glass daily?

I dislike sticking my arms in the tank as it has fared so much better since I stopped (I work with oil and copper based paints at work)

I have been unable to find shoulder length gloves anywhere

So, I am gonna scrape it all off today

will daily cleaning with a magnet keep it off, or should I keep looking for those gloves?

2 different types of gloves I clean my glass every day and still get coralline.I don't think it's a bad thing If it wasn't growing then I would think I would be concerned

Hey, thanks for the link, that is what I have been unable to find

I am not concerned about it growing either, its a great sign, I just want it off the front glass, it can cover all the rest

Thanks again

Also, run your shark magnet daily. Anchored seedlings of coralline can be removed without scratches before the pink patch begins to grow.

www.petsolutions.com for another two kinds of shoulder gloves--I used the cheaper ones and they are disposable like bakery gloves. didn't like putting my grubby hands in the planted tank...

I got my gloves from "that fish place." They sent me a great catalog. Love those gloves; I don't have to worry about getting nailed by a bristle worm.

My magnet scraper takes care of any coralline on the front andd side glass.
