Look what a Hipnopora can do to a Palmata Acro.

Thursday my Hipnopora coral sweep and touch my favorite colony a Palmata Acro. When i saw what happening i move it but are to late, the Palmata already have a bleech patch on it. Today Sunday the palmata have more than the middle bleech out. I frag it to save some frags from this spectacular specimen. This is my first incident with this Hipnopora sp., i never thouht that this coral are so agressive :twisted: . Im lucky that i always frag my corals and i have a pretty frag from this goner colony. Ralphyhp.

Yep, Hydnophora are pretty aggressive. Gotta watch them around other coral.

Before you palmata frag got stung, it was looking awesome! Keep up the good work as that's an easy coral to keep - let alone grow.

Time to move that Hydnophora.

That was my question isnt A. Palmata restricted, I would love a piece on one if I could get one. Where can I buy a frag?

Being from PR I think I know where you got it but if its legal maybe you want to sell me some frags sometime after it regrows!

Ben i cant send livestocks to the USA from Puerto Rico. I would like to trade some frags with my US friends. Did nobody have a Acropora Palmata on the USA to trade with. Thats why i receive to many PM and emails from R/C and R.org members asking me for palmata frags. I remember when i was a kid and the coral reef are not endengered at all, the people went to the beach and take out the prettiest and biggest Palmatas that i ever seen just for bleeching on clorox and use them for decoration at their homes What a miss. I going to be honest with you guys, the day that my friend gave me that Palmata i didnt know what kind of coral he was giving to me and if it was endengered. Thats why i start the R/C thread: Id this acro. Have a nice day Ralphyhp :wink: .
