Well 3 or 4 times today I thought he was dead, upside down and no movement. Everytime I would move the net though he would spring back to life.

I think the dinos are to blame. After reading your link I'm a little scared about my new tang now! 8O

Well this morning, day3, I thought for sure he was a goner. I put my hand in to the net just to make sure he was dead and the little sucker sprang back to life and I think he was actually trying to attack me, either that or he was real happy to see me like a little puppy dog.

I wish he would either get better so I can return him to the main tank or die so I can at least I can get this over with 8O

He's still alive but still plays dead alot and doesn't stay upright. He must be tough as nails cuz hes still alive. I hope he gets better eventually but doubtful, I'll post a pic shorty........

This is the tough little doode in his quarentine net. Had to isolate him because when he would lay on the sand motionless on his back I saw my six-line starting to zero in. He also got stuck in the powerhead intake, I think I got him out in time.....

420, does your shrimp have any black spots on its body that are about pinhead-sized or larger?

Could you provide a clear photo of the shrimp that is not taken through the net, please?

I will try my best to get better pictures tonight when I get home. Will be hard because I'm afraid to let him out of the net for the pictures. Last time the powerhead almost sucked him up and have to be careful of the six-line as well.

He might of had a black spot, not sure. I will give him a lookover tonight and report back. What did you have in mind about my little guy Mr Brandt? Thanks....

Mr Brandt,

He DOES have a small to medium sized black spot! Its on his right side 3/4 of his body length back torwards his rear. I will try to get a pic if I can.

What can I do for this???

I think it's a fungal infection that occurs with these shrimps. I don't know of a treatment, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.

I looked through 6 of my references that I thought it might be in, but came up blank. I know I have seen it written about somewhere. Ugh!

Please call me John :D
