I've kept these guys quite a bit, but I'm not sure what information you're after.
They need to be kept with fishes at least one and a half times their own size, and need to be hand fed usually since they can't compete with other fishes for introduced food.
They are very hardy, long lived animals - but do not underestimate their swallowing capacity!

Ya, anglers are sweet! Have you seen the movie righty made of his? Hopefully, he'll chime :) I've been thinking about one for a small tank too, but I'm also considering seahorses. Tough call!

Len, you've been sitting on the "angler fence" for quite some time now.
Commit already! :P

Ya, but with seahorses, I could still get a pair of helfrichi firefish :) With an angler or froggy, firefish = food.

I have the gear ready. I just need to make up my mind and find the time.

Well, on that note I'll reiterate my original thought when you posted your scorpoinfish thread. After a while the novelty wears off, and they become rather boring if you ask me. They sit there and don't do a darn thing.
The sea horse, firefish tank will be much more interesting IMO.

Cheers

Also, girls love seahorses (and clowns), but they're scared of eels, lions, anglers, and dorks who are fascinated with SPS corals. :D

A good little resource for anglers is Scott Michael's "Reef Fishes: Volume 1" It has a great section on the care, max size, photos, etc of all the anglers you might want to buy. I think it's probably best to put one in a smallish tank--easier to spot it, and you won't want any tankmates with it anyway.

Girls do love seahorses... but ya know, I think anglers and lions and eels are neat too. I (being a girl) strongly debated on an aggressive fish only set up that involved an eel and possibly a lion or a puffer. I'm a sucker for those huge puppy dog eyes, puffers are such a cool fish, lions are beautiful and eels.. they rock. Heck a really neat albino porcupine puffer is what convinced me to get into this hobby.

Furthermore, I kinda like the dorks fascinated with sps corals. You go on and set up your tiny tank for an angler len, if that's what you want. It won't put off the girls at all.
